Nearby Lake George and Lake Champlain offer a unique opportunity for couples to view some of New York State’s most beautiful and historic scenery in their pictures and pre-wedding activities. With mountains descending to crystal clear waters, these two lakes are like no others in the country. Our barn wedding venue brings you more of the same, nestled right in between these historic lakes. The Barn at Lord Howe Valley is the ideal venue for couples seeking a rustic yet elegant wedding experience. It is located on a picturesque 77- acres in the historic Lord Howe Valley in Ticonderoga, NY. The valley is abundant with rolling hills and pastures. We’re also nestled between Lake George and Lake Champlain Region, as well as a close neighbor to Vermont.
Our barn is located a half mile off of Route 9N. Once you’re on the property follow a road lined with white fencing just beyond the Trout Brook. This places you in the perfect location for incredible views of the valley and the Adirondack mountains, creating a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding all while giving you an added feeling of seclusion and privacy. Custom designed post and beams with gorgeous chandeliers and beautiful arches give the barn its unique and beautiful character. You’ll receive an open air feel as each side of the barn has multiple large sliding doors that open. The view of the valley and surround mountains is all that remains. Our converted horse barn has been transformed into two bridal suites for use on your wedding day. One suite has a clean and crisp feel with all white walls and victorian flair. While the other suite has more of a rustic/ industrial lounge feel set within the old horse stalls within the barn.
Our location is ideal for partaking in numerous wedding activities. Head over to Lake George or Lake Champlain to get out on the water or visit one of the endless historic destinations such as Fort Ticonderoga or Fort Crown Point. The Barn at Lord Howe Valley is the perfect barn wedding venue to truly experience the Adirondacks and the beauty that has made them famous.
