The Barn at Lord Howe Valley is nestled between the Northern end of Lake George and the Southern end of Lake Champlain. We are about a four-hour drive from New York City, just under two hours from Albany, approximately two and a half hours from Montreal and just under an hour and a half from Burlington, VT.
From the South:
Take I-87N to Exit 24 – Bolton Landing.
Turn right onto County Route 11, follow for 4.7 miles.
At stop sign turn left onto NY- Route 9N, follow for 24.5 miles.
Destination will be on your left just past the Ticonderoga Country Club.
From the North:
Take I-87S to Exit 31- Elizabethtown/ Westport.
Follow NY-Route 9N S for 31.8 miles into the Town of Ticonderoga.
At the traffic circle take the 1st exit and stay on NY- Route 9N S for 1.3 miles.
Destination will be on your right just down the hill from Nadeau’s Farm & Garden Market.

There is a train station in Ticonderoga servicing Amtrak trains.
Arriving by Ferry:
There is a ferry that will take you across Lake Champlain into Shoreham, Vermont.
